Haven’t there been all kinds of funds and research expended on anti-missile technologies? Weren’t American systems installed in Israel? Why, after years of harassment by the pea-shooters of Hamas, and the rockets of Hezbollah and Saddam before them, hasn’t a defensive system been implemented that negates the threat from Gaza?
Is killing more than a thousand, and wounding thousands more, with more or less the same military technologies the Nazis used more than 60 years ago, still the best way to quell the unrest of a captive population under siege?
