Subject: Miko Peled and The Constituency of Conscience
This is an excellent short video directed by my friend Ed Sweed and created by the Alternate Focus team, with whom I had the pleasure of working in San Diego. It is a great interview with Miko Peled, the son of Israeli General Matti Peled. We interviewed Miko this winter at the home of a gracious Palestinian in LaJolla. After my 10 years in the Middle East, I was struck by Miko’s internalization of the Palestinian cultural mind with its many nuances, a divide most activists here never cross. The General’s Son is his new book and I’m sure it’s as sharp as Miko. In the last few days, this video is beginning to really take off. It’s a good one, so please pass it on…………………..M………………..
